The 46th annual Santa Cruz marching band review is scheduled for Saturday, October 15 from 9am to 2pm.

Santa Cruz High Marching Band will be marching at 9:45! This is a judged competition, each band will be decked out in full parade regalia!

Tips bring your own chair (or sit on the curb) bring water and sunscreen boardwalk rides will be open from 11 to 7 buy some swag to support the Santa Cruz High Marching Band!

The other night, I was out on the wharf for an evening walk. I passed a family that looked like they must've just left a restaurant—full bellies, and all of the kids shirts were speckled with tomato sauce. Then I passed a couple sitting on a bench, watching the sun set. She had a tiny smudge of sauce on her cheek. Hmmm.. it must be spaghetti night somewhere.

There will be a presentation of Ohlone and Spanish cuisine including hot rock cooking, tortilla frying on a Comal and baking in our Horno. You can even sample the creations and make your own tortilla.
